I’ll never forget my first Dior show at Paris fashion week.
It was four years ago and after attending Paris fashion week for 2 years prior I had made a connection with the team at Dior and kept my fingers and toes crossed to attend. As I held my breath for the formal invitation, the day finally came. It honestly felt too good to be true.
Things have come a long way since then, not only with my blog, my personal style and the crazy industry surrounding online bloggers and influencers, but one thing that has not changed is the rush of anticipation surrounding the invite. I still feel nervous about getting invited at all and feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity.

Everyone has their own reasons for attending Paris fashion week. Whether it’s the editors and journalists, buyers, influencers, stylists, photographers, etc… And while I love seeing what’s on tap with the latest trends and supporting my favorite brands, the real reason I go to Paris fashion week is because it brings me back to why I started this crazy journey to begin with.
There is no rush stronger than the one I get when I’m sitting at the Dior show at Paris fashion week.
The lights go down, the music turns up and I get an incredible rush of butterflies as I watch the most beautiful pieces of art walk down the runway. Fashion is fun and I love nothing more than the wonderful opportunity that has been bestowed upon me to support the amazingly talented people who make this industry what it is.
While I cannot be in Paris today to support one of the most iconic brands of all time, I wanted to share a few photos we took in one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles. Dressed in Dior, I spent the day playing along the cliffs of Malibu. I think some people thought I looked crazy. The temps hit 80 at one point and there I was with a heavy coat. Little did they know that I was living in a secret world of my own, playing dress up with Dior.
Thank you to my friends at Dior for sending these pieces for me to borrow & congratulations on creating another spectacular season. Be sure to head over to the Dior website to check out the show from today.
