Last week we went to Cabo as a family and it was such an amazing vacation.
After closing the By Damsel pop-up shop the first week of January and having to work through the entire holiday season, we were feeling long overdue for a true vacation time. Our friends at the Pedregal recently got purchased by the Waldorf Astoria group, and you guys know how much I love the Waldorf Astoria, so we were very interested to check it out. We’ve stayed at Pedregal in the past but we wanted to see what changes, if any, the resort had gone through since Waldorf acquired the property and we were very pleasantly surprised to learn that there haven’t been any changes at all. The Pedregal is still the most amazing (and one of my favorite) hotels in Cabo. The breakfast margarita (all of the margarita’s there) is top notch and the location can not be beat.
We took our amazing nanny with us to watch over June so we could enjoy a dinner at El Farallon and Edith’s as well as hang by the pool worry free while June took her naps, etc… June LOVED swimming and playing in the sand so it was part of our daily routine to take her for 1 or 2 swims and play on the beach. We even got to see a turtle release that the hotel was doing. It was so cool!
Here are a few photos from our trip, along with links to everything I wore. In the feature image I’m wearing a green Reformation dress that I love with my new LalaLexa clutch + I’m also wearing my new YSL sandals that were NOT comfortable. Repeat: I wouldn’t suggest buying these (boooo).
On the first day of our trip I launched my swimsuit collection with Summersalt so I spent nearly the entire trip wearing the collection with the exception of the one day I wore my new Johanna Ortiz. I’ve been eyeing Johanna Ortiz for quite some time and I have no regrets on this pricey suit. It can be worn comfortably as a top and the big flower snaps off easily for sun time. It was a worthy investment piece that I think I’ll get a ton of wear out of. Also wearing: Loewe Straw Tote + Summersalt Deep Sea Dot Pant that I designed + Effortless Shirt Dress (we will be restocking) + Beck Jewels Earrings
Wearing: Summersalt collection lace up swimsuit
I am officially OBSESSED with anything and everything Asceno. I’ve always been attracted to this brand but lately any time I have a little $ to spend on great pieces for my closet I head straight to their website. These pieces have lived in my closet for years so I’m really working to build out a strong capsule closet by investing in more. Wearing: Asceno Oversized White Linen Top + Asceno White Linen Pant
Wearing: Lace Up Polka Dot Swimsuit + Red Backflip One Piece + Loewe Tote + Sophie Monet Egg Earring + Yellow Linen Shorts
