Family 6 years ago Being Pregnant Is Scary
You may remember a few months ago when I cut my trip to Canada short by a few days.
The forest fire smoke had gotten so intense that there was a high health advisory in the area and officials were asking people to vacate: including us. What you didn’t know at the time was that I was carrying a tiny baby in my belly, along with complete anxiety and fears over how the smoke was affecting us.
At 17 weeks pregnant, I quickly learned the scary reality that I am no longer only responsible for my own health, but my baby as well. Thankfully, we were able to get out quickly and head back to Los Angeles where I quickly headed to my doctor to make sure everything was okay.
