I was truly honored when The Hollywood Reporter & THE OUTNET.COM asked me to interview some of the key attendees at this year’s Women in Entertainment Event. Every year I have watched this celebrity filled event from the sidelines, secretly wishing to be invited and finally my time has come!
Jane Lynch laughed as she, in her own words, “broke my red carpet cherry” along with other friendly famous faces like Tina Fey, Kathy Griffin, Aja Naomi King and Kelly Rowland – to name a few. I also chatted with celebrity stylist Penny Lovell about a few looks from THE OUTNET that she styled as red carpet inspiration. And let’s not forget my sit-down with Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles – I was obsessing over her chic suit the entire time.
Needless to say the event was a fantastic one. I had the opportunity to rub elbows with the most powerful women in Hollywood, where we chatted about personal style, what it means to be a woman in Hollywood and what events like this one mean for the industry. I was truly touched by all of the amazing work that is being done by Women in Hollywood to encourage and fight for women’s rights and equality.
Thank you so much to The Hollywood Reporter and THE OUTNET for having me.
