Spring is a terrific time to inject a bit of color into your wardrobe, but lately I just haven’t been feeling it.
It could be all of the rain we’ve been getting in Los Angeles but to be quite honest, I think it’s because it’s only been 6 weeks since June was born and I haven’t been in the mood to bust out bold colors. I’ve been wearing more neutral-tones, such as white, tan and a little bit of black. My mood lately has been very happy and peaceful, so out of curiosity I looked up why I have only been drawn to wearing neutrals and what I discovered online was quite interesting.
A few articles said that white and tans are colors that symbolize purity, simplicity and stability. Another psychological angle I found said that people wear neutrals because they do not want to draw too much attention to themselves and don’t want to spend too much time worrying about matching. This all relates to my current state of mind and style and I could definitely relate to my findings.
