As many times as I have come to NYC, there is one thing I have always wanted to do but haven’t.
After two days of non-stop rain, there finally came a clearing yesterday as my main squeeze and I made our way to Central Park. Old Navy recently offered to deck me and my mister out for our own Holiday tradition. Pre-Christmas, pre-traveling to/from Texas and Aspen, Grant and I like to find something special that’s meant just for us. This year we turned it into a trip to NY {the city where we fell in love}.
There was a cold brisk wind blowing through the city, but I felt super warm layered up in my toggle coat & turtleneck sweater. I can’t skate to save my life, so thank God my hockey playing hunk was there to hold my hand along the way.
Since we opened presents {early} this weekend, Grant got a few key staple items from Old Navy {see the bottom of this post for more} as well as a very happy wife because I was able to check off a big mark on my bucket list: Ice Skating in Central Park.
On Me: Hooded Toggle Coat {$80, $70} // Rockstar Mid Rise Skinny Jeans {$35} // Gray Cable knit Turtleneck Sweater {$44} // Faux Leather Moto Boots {$35} // Gray Gloves {$4, similar pair here} // Quilted Tweed Vest {$30}
On my Mister: Wool Blend Jacket {$45} // Quilted Barn Jacket in Ink Blue {$50} // Men’s Slim Fit Striped Chambray Shirt {$35} // Slim Fit Dark Wash Jeans {$35} // Canvas Sneakers {$28} // Sweater Knit Scarf {$11} // Gray Knit Hat {$10}
