True story: I’m teaming up with the lovely folks over at rag & bone this month for a sponsored post featuring their amazing denim. I went downtown to snap some photos for the blog post and grabbed the wrong pair of jeans! I think I have around 4-5 pair of rag & bone but that’s because I genuinely love them. I will still be posting the new pair, which is a lighter wash and distressed, but I like this outfit and wanted to post it anyway.
This past weekend was the most relaxed I’ve felt in a while. Grant drove up to Santa Barbara on Saturday for the night and I stuck back to nurse Polly back to good health {she is doing much better and recovering from a UTI}. On Saturday I stayed in my pajamas until 12:30pm! I honestly cannot tell you the last time I did that. Isn’t it funny how the older you get the more guilt you carry in how you spend your days. I remember as a child waking up at noon and not giving it a second thought. In college I was a champion sleeper, sometimes snoozing until 2 and 3pm. Now, in my 30s, it’s much harder to get in sleep past 8:30am and I’m lucky if I can stay asleep until 9am.
I don’t know what it was about this Saturday in particular but I felt zero guilt, zero drive to move and did zero with my day. Outside of a quick trip to Lowe’s to pick up a new water hose and a few photos I snapped for Instagram, the day consisted of ordering BBQ from Bludso’s and watching Friends. It was needed.
What did you do this weekend?
