When it comes to the holiday season, I don’t always agree that you need to rush out and buy a new dress.
In fact, I much prefer investing in pieces that you can wear after the holiday and season and instead, try to find new ways to style old pieces. Here are a few of my styling hacks for the holiday season.
Buttoning up a blouse all the way to the top is a quick and easy way to make any button down sophisticated and elevated. If you button your ordinary white crisp blouse to the top button, you can layer a necklace on top to really make the look pop.
Almost every fashion girl has a black slip dress and a chunky sweater. Why not pair the two together for a fresh take on two styles?
Make your accessory item the focus of your outfit by layering several stacks on top of one another.
And I'm not talking about your clothing. Try a new hair style for an immediate way to draw people's attention away from the fact that you might be wearing the same little black dress that you had last year.
Bust out a bright color that you would have originally reserved for spring/summer to add some fun to your holiday attire. Don't be afraid of neon pink or green and swap out your denim for a pair of black trousers to dress up the look.
Are you attending any fun festive soirées this holiday season?
