If there was such thing as NYFW prom, this was the night!
With a double header of the Ralph Lauren 50th Anniversary Show, and the annual Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party, it was a night of black tie glitz and glam {the brawl between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj aside}. I feel so grateful that I was invited to attend both events and I wanted to make sure I looked the part. Ralph Lauren graciously lent me this stunning black dress from their archives that felt easy and comfortable {for both me and baby} and with professional hair and make up, I felt like a million bucks.
I don’t tend to need to get black-tie-ready very often, so it was kind of a treat to get all dolled up and hit the town for such glamorous events. That being said, figuring out what to wear to a formal event can be a little daunting. With Fall feeling like the warm up to the holiday season and with time flying by with the blink of an eye, I thought I’d help you out and share my favorite formal pieces.
