Spring is a lovely reminder of how beautiful a {wardrobe} change can be.

Okay, okay, so maybe the quote doesn’t go quite exactly like that but I like to think of spring as the perfect opportunity to hit refresh on a few key wardrobe staples that you might need. Even though it is still technically February, we are quickly approaching spring and year after year there are a few key brands that I always resort to in order to give my closet a reset. It doesn’t take much, maybe a brand new basket bag or straw hat, to make your clothes feel new and refreshed.

Janessa Leone

I'm a long time lover of every single thing that Janessa Leone creates and every year when spring rolls around, she is the first place I head to hit refresh for my hat collection. Her hats fit me so well and they really last year-round. They are top notch quality and do well on trips. This particular hat has been around the world with me - getting smashed in suitcases and tossed around in all sorts of environments, but it's still wearable! 

Solid and Striped

You guys know how much I adore this flattering swimsuit company. Any time I have a trip planned or beach day on the horizon, it's always the first place I turn to for a must have maillot. 

Staud

My all-time favorite basket bag is by Staud and I honestly cannot get enough of their collections year round. There always seems to be a new 'IT' bag coming out that's made by Staud that I want to carry 24/7. 

Rachel Comey

Okay, I am legit obsessed with Rachel Comey and I think we need to talk about it. I visit her boutique over on Melrose Place at least once a month to check out her latest creations and I'm always super impressed, very much in love and never leave the store empty handed. If I'm looking for a little pick me up for my style, her website and store is always a top hit on my radar. 

Soludos

The suit, the style, the bag and now the icing on the cake - the shoes! But what sick styles will carry your feet from spring through summer blister free? For me, it's always a sweet pair of Soludos that does the trick. For nearly two years in a row this pair of white slides have been a favorite and I cannot wait to see what fresh new sandals they come up with this season!
