Even though we don’t know if beaches or parks will be open, it doesn’t stop the fact that warmer weather is coming our direction {we have that to look forward to!}.
I’m not saying my stay safer at home measures are going to change drastically, but I’m ready to swap out my sweats for an easy breezy dress that I can wear both inside and out. So what styles am I gravitating toward? I definitely want dresses that are flowy, comfortable and afforable.
The best part? All of my selects are under $150!
I just love a good house dress. To me, a house dress is one step up for wearing pajamas. It’s fun, it’s flirty, it’s girlie and it’s something that you can feel great wearing all day and sleeping in all night.
A shirt dress is all the ease of an oversized button-down, with just a bit more tailoring. This style is really great with sneakers and lace up sandals alike, and I love them because they have a preppy flair while still maintaining their laid-back feel.
Ah, let us not forget a good ole maxi dress. The perfect dress for when there’s an extra breeze, when you want to protect your legs from the sun {big win!}, or when you simply wish to switch it up from your usual mini. Maxi dresses transition incredibly well from day to night, and can be dressed up with a strappy heeled sandal or dressed down with your favorite sneaker.
