Health 6 years ago Summer Cocktails in a Pinch
To say we’re excited for summer is an understatement.
We searched the web for the easiest, most delicious cocktail recipes. I always feel like the simplest cocktails end up being the best ones anyways. No crazy ingredients, just the perfect mixes of fruit, fizz, maybe a little spice, and of course the booze {unless you want to make them mocktails, which are of course delicious as well!}.
Without further ado, our roundup of the quickest, easiest, and yummiest summer beverages…
Raspberry Lemonade Margaritas
Three of my favorite things all in one! This super easy recipe makes for one of the most refreshing {and prettiest} drinks. This just makes me dream about sitting poolside with a book in one hand and a cocktail in the other. Recipe sourced from: Crazy for Crust
Ingredients & Directions
Ingredients: raspberry lemonade + tequila + triple sec
Directions: To yield one cocktail, add 6 oz of raspberry lemonade, 2 oz of tequila, and 1 oz of triple sec to a glass filled with ice {and a salted rim if you wish}. Garnish the beverage with sliced lemon and raspberries.
Peach Basil Moscow Mule
Moscow mules are the best but I always associate them with colder weather. This peachy edition screams summer and is a nice change up from your average poolside cocktail. Recipe sourced from: Whitney Bond
Ingredients & Directions
Ingredients: peach vodka + ginger beer + lemon + basil
Directions: To yield one mule, add 2 oz of peach vodka to 6 oz of ginger beer in a glass {preferably copper mug} filled with ice. Add 1/4 lemon and a couple piece of fresh basil. Stir and enjoy!
Blueberry Mojito
This drink is almost as pretty as it is tasty. We know you'll love this perfect combination of sweet and sour, perfect for any occasion. Recipe sourced from: Baking Beauty
Ingredients & Directions
Ingredients: fresh blueberries + rum + mint leaves + white sugar + limes + club soda
Directions: To yield one cocktail, blend or muddle 1/2 cup of blueberries until smooth. Muddle 5 mint leaves and 1 tsp of sugar. To this combination, add the blended blueberries, 2 oz of rum, and juice of 1 lime. Pour over 3 oz club soda and ice. Garnish with blueberries, mint and lime.
Grapefruit Ranch Water
Do you like something with a little kick? If so, this is the drink for you. The added jalapeños will pack an unexpected punch to your new favorite cocktail. And don't worry, if you aren't into the spice, this beverage is absolutely delicious sans peppers. Recipe sourced from: Country Living
Ingredients & Directions
Ingredients: pink grapefruit juice {fresh if possible} + simple syrup + spiced tequila + sparkling water + garnish {pink grapefruit wedges, cilantro, sliced jalapeño}
Directions: To yield one cocktail, add 1/3 cup grapefruit juice, 3 tbsp simple syrup, and 1.5 oz spiced tequila, to a salt-rimmed glass filled with ice. Stir and top with sparkling water plus garnishes. Of course, feel free to add or take away garnishes as you prefer.
What is your favorite summer beverage? We would LOVE to test it out!
