I took a look around my closet the other day and realized I do not have a single piece of color.
Okay, maybe that’s a dramatization but I honestly don’t have a lot and lately I’ve been craving nothing but pops of chartreuse, bold red and fun statement bags and shoes. Dries Van Noten has really been pulling at my heart strings this season. I love the embellished bags! I’ve also been eyeing a few skirts by Des Phemmes.
Needless to say the winter feels as though it’s finally thawing. And yes, I’m wildly aware that I live in sunny California so I hope you picked up on the metaphor there. For a while, style has felt quite muted. Not bad, just colorless. But lately I’ve felt something shift. The energy is different. Lighter. A little more curious.
I’m ready to start injecting color back into my life again. The kind of color that comes from saying yes to new experiences, letting myself feel excited about what’s next, and remembering that life is meant to be vivid.
So consider this the season where the palette starts to change again. A little brighter, a little bolder, and a lot more alive. Here are a few pieces that I’m currently eyeing.
I've had this in my cart for weeks and it's time to finally pull the trigger.
Shop NowI just purchased this bag and cannot wait to inject it directly into my wardrobe.
Shop NowThis is such a fun suit to wear under a sheer dress for Spring Break.
Shop NowToteme is always worth the investment. I've had so many of their dresses for years.
Shop NowIt's pricey but I've been drooling over this green number for nearly a year. I WANT it.
Shop NowThese are classic with a twist. They'd be a nice replacement for your black ballet flats this spring.
Shop NowI can't believe I don't have a single red dress in my current closet but this one will soon be added.
Shop NowI absolutely love these modern sandals and feel like they'd look great with any color dress.
Shop NowI was shocked to see Banana Republic enter the chat with this adorable spring bag.
Shop NowIt's the season for pencil skirts and I simply cannot get enough.
Shop NowIf you aren't feeling as loud, this printed cotton cover up checks all the boxes for adding a spring fling to your closet.
Shop NowThis dress feels so classic but also fresh. It would be great for any brunch, spring shower or dinner al fresco.
Shop NowIf you're wanting a touch of color without going too crazy, a swimsuit is a nice and easy way to test it out.
Shop NowYellow and red are my favorite color combo of the season and I'm not afraid to wear a cardigan over a swimsuit either!
Shop NowI threw this in here because I really love it and think it'd look really wonderful thrown over any of the dresses or skirts in this edit.
Shop NowPerhaps I saved the best for last. I've been eyeing these for a long time and think it's finally time to pull the trigger.
