While I was in New York last week I did something I’ve never done before. I ran the entire border of Central Park. As I’m currently training for the Holiday Half on December 12th in Brooklyn, I’ve been trying to amp up my running schedule which has felt rather difficult lately. Between meetings, shooting campaigns for the upcoming holiday season and my hectic travel schedule, finding time to run has been a challenge. I often say, and hear other people say, “I just don’t have the time!” But I’m a firm believer in that we make time for the things that are important to us and running is something that I find important for my mind, body & soul. Instead of not having time to run, I am now trying to make the time. And instead of saying I do not have the time to do something, I try to say “I’m not making the time for it.” I mean come on, we have the same amount of hours in a day as Beyonce.
