The truth is, you can’t put on a pretty dress with a pretty filter in a pretty location to cover up the sadness.
This year is so hard, for everyone. We have good days and bad days. We have moments of optimism and then moments that kick us back down. Every time I feel like I am coming up for air, we receive new awful and tragic news that knocks us back down again.
While it is a nice outlet to share our highlights with you all, it is also vital for us to share our heartache, sorrow and sadness too. I can’t always share the tragic and incredibly sad experiences we have for the privacy of others, but it’s here… behind closed doors.
I am writing this to let you know that you are not alone. We are all in this world together. It is the only thing that brings me true peace.
