Finally! I have been dreaming of this room since I can remember. We call it the Polly’s Piano Room. I grew up with a piano in my home and my brother & I always took lessons. I’ve always wanted one of my own to play and when we moved into our new home, there was an extra room that I knew would be perfect for the piano and for our dog Polly to hang out in while we’re not home.
After we invested in a pre-owned Yahama U-Series {which I absolutely love, sticky keys and all}, it was time to think about art for the walls. We debated between a statement piece and a gallery wall. Gallery walls have always intimidated me. I have a problem with knowing what something is going to look like when I can’t see it all together. I was on Anthropologie one night searching for art when I came across this piece and saw the artists name followed by “Artfully Walls.” What is Artfully Walls?
Wow.
How did I not know that Artfully Walls existed? I was hooked and then I came across their “Wall Designer” tool which helps you to drag and drop their art to build your own wall {insert jaw drop here}. I immediately ran inside in excitement and starting measuring. Then I e-mailed the brand asking if they would be interested in teaming up for a trade. This post isn’t sponsored, yet it was inspired by Artfully Walls. I am so happy with the way the room turned out and it would not have been possible without their help.
See the “Before” of my piano room at the bottom of this post.
