I will never forget my first winter in Chicago. I was totally unprepared and had a measly light unlined jacket and nearly froze to death all winter. It didn’t take long before I realized that you need a variety of coats to carry you from fall through winter. From puffy coats that go past the knee to shorter lined bomber jackets that are light and flirty, there is an outwear option for just any environment. We do not get crazy low temperatures in Los Angeles, but I do have a few trips in the pipeline that have me planning my winter coat line up early this season.
