If I had to sum up our trip to Positano in one word it would be: Amazing.
We booked this trip quite a long time ago and with a non-refundable hotel reservation, we found ourselves moving and moving the dates around due to so many factors in our lives over the past year. A big one of those factors was me being pregnant!

We booked our hotel about 7 months ago and had planned to visit during July. However, then not only did we find out that we were having a baby, but our first born {our english bulldog Polly} got quite sick and needed to have surgery, which caused us to bump the trip {pun intended}.
The Il San Pietro is hands down what I consider to be the nicest hotel in Positano. In fact, it’s definitely one of my top 5 favorite hotels in the world. I first visited back in April 2017 when I was invited on a media trip with Tom Ford. Grant was working on a big project at the time and couldn’t join me, so I’ve wanted to take him back ever since.
My first trip ever to Positano was back in 2011 when Grant and I were engaged. His family sail boat was cruising around the Amalfi Coast and we were lucky enough to hop aboard. Positano was one of my favorite little coastal towns that we visited on that trip. I know it’s always been quite a popular destination, but with the rise of Instagram, it feels like it is constantly flooding my feed during the warmer months.
With pictures of tourists, influencers and bloggers posting from the Positano beach, I must admit that it’s become a bit of a deterrent.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
But I honestly don’t care if Positano has become a huge tourist destination, people visit it so much for a reason – it’s absolutely beautiful!
The dress I'm wearing is sold out, but I love this easy coverup as well!
Shop NowThe food at Zass, inside the Il San Pietro, was definitely our favorite meal of the trip. If you are visiting Positano and don't have the chance to stay at the hotel, definitely take a water taxi to the property for sunset cocktails and dinner. These views are not to be missed and the food was delicious!
Every room at the hotel is different. We requested a Positano view which was out-of-this-world gorgeous. I really loved the tile in our room. I also loved this cute little white nightgown that I scored from one of the local shops in town. I wore it non-stop.
I bought a few linen dresses and nightgowns in town that I’m obsessed with. I linked an alternative option below:
