A few weeks ago, I headed to New York for the Tribeca Film Festival, and it turned into a weekend steeped in cinema, art, and culture.

Between screenings of Rosemead, Boy George and Culture Club, and The Last Guest of the Holloway Motel, I squeezed in as many galleries and exhibits as possible that I cannot stop thinking about.

We kicked things off at the Whitney to see Amy Sherald’s show, which was just as powerful and mesmerizing as you’d expect.

At Pace Gallery, I was completely drawn into Alicia Kwade’s exhibit. Her work felt like stepping into another dimension.

We made our way to Lisson Gallery to see pieces by Carmen Herrera and Hugh Hayden. Carmen’s work stopped me in my tracks—clean, bold, timeless. A standout favorite.

I’m off to Hawaii today for a little birthday getaway, and I couldn’t be more excited.

There’s something about Hawaii that makes vacation dressing feel like play. The colors feel brighter, the prints bolder, and the accessories a little more fun. Whether it’s a breezy floral dress, a sculptural pair of sunglasses, or a splash of gold jewelry, I always find myself stepping a bit outside of my comfort zone when I’m here—and loving it.

We split up Spring Break this year—each of us taking one week with one of the kids.

I spent the first week in Cabo with June, and for week two, Hugh and I headed to Montecito. The Rosewood Miramar is hands-down one of my favorite spots to take little ones. Between the beach access and the adorable choo-choo train, it’s the kind of drivable getaway that feels easy and special all at once.

Dressing for Montecito is a literal dream come true for me. I love wearing warm layers because the temps can range from swimsuit worthy to sweater and pants in a matter of hours.
