Life 4 years ago Online Shops That Give Back To Charity
Even though we can’t volunteer in person this year, there are so many ways we can keep giving back this “Giving Tuesday” to those in need this holiday season.
Last year, we took the 1212 team (I’m the Creative Director for this organic baby brand) over to the Baby2Baby headquarters and compiled gift bags for parents in need. I absolutely love this organization and proud to say that all purchases made on 1212 give back to Baby2Baby.
Sometimes giving back to others can be as easy as doing your own holiday shopping.
While yes, donations directly to organizations in need is always appreciated, I wanted to get a little creative in finding a way to hopefully help save you money while also giving back!
1212 – A 100% organic, sustainable baby brand that I just so happen to be the Creative Director for. I love how snuggly soft this clothing is and we have some amazing gift Sets that are perfect for the holiday season.
AUrate – This sick jewelry is sustainably made and charitable! They donate a book for every piece of jewelry purchased.
Toms – Remember Toms, the brand that donates a pair of shoes for each pair purchased? They have seriously expanded their assortment. I am loving their slippers {especially this pair}!
DIFF – Such cool and affordable sunglasses that not only donates glasses to those in need, but also provides eye exams, eye surgery and medication.
Anne Sisteron – I love this brand’s charitable concept. And not to mention the jewelry is absolutely stunning. For every online order, $10 is donated. Each year they select 3 charities to feature, and the customer can decide which one they would like their donation to go towards. Right now clients can choose from these causes: 1) human trafficking 2) Foster kids 3) Wildlife poaching. Incredible!
Ten Thousand Villages – This shop supports artisans from villages across the world, as their aim is to stop the cycle of poverty. I think their handmade stocking stuffers are especially cute.
Lemlem – I have been a fan of Lemlem for quite some time. The brand employs African women, providing a way out of poverty, and focuses on women’s access to healthcare.
The Honest Company – Your money funds the distribution of safe products to those in need. They have donated well over 20 million products {like diapers} since 2012. Wow.
STATE Bags – Have you heard of them? They make THE BEST backpacks. EVER. So durable and chic and for each one purchased, a backpack full of school supplies is donated.
Parachute – I love Parachute bedding. And I love them even more now that I know they donate their returned bedding to Habitat for Humanity.
Do you know of any brands that give back? We would love to hear in the comments below!
