There are a few things that I have been putting off purchasing for quite some time. Why? I don’t really know. But they are 10 things that I can honestly feel the void in my closet with and I finally sat down this past weekend & pulled the trigger on doing some research and online shopping.

1. Nicholas Kirkwood Loafers // I have officially recycled my white Tory Burch flats from last summer & they are all I have been wearing. This is great and all but it’s officially time to replace my dated pair with the Nicholas Kirkwood’s I’ve been drooling over for months. I ordered them a while ago but my regular size 8 was too small. So, then I re-ordered them in an 8.5 and they were still too small so I gave up because I hate returning things. After seeing them pop up on my friends blog {like Danielle & Anh} I finally pulled the trigger on ordering a pair this weekend.
Other favorite white flats:
2. Anine Bing Lingerie // About a year or two ago I finally started to take time to purchasing a bra that felt hot in. Ever since I came across Anine Bing I cannot stop buying her lingerie. I started out with her white lace bra with trim and haven’t looked back since. There is something super sexy about a bit of lace peeking out from under a v-neck tee that gets my heart pumping.
Anine Bing favorites:
3. Preston & Olivia Hats // This summer has been the season of the hat for me. I don’t know if you have noticed on Instagram but #IHaveThisThingForHats lately. I simply cannot get enough. It all started with Janessa Leone, then to Gladys and now my lately obsessed is Preston & Olivia.
Hats I’m eyeing:
4. An Hermés Porcelain Tray // I swear I have wanted an Hermés Porcelain Tray for years but I just can’t pull the trigger. I think it’s because it is one of those totally excessive things that always takes a back burner on my purchase list. I just love the idea of tossing my jewelry in it at the end of the day.
Other trays worth trying:
5. All things white by Heidi Merrick // It’s been a minute since I paid a visit to my favorite designer and dear friend, Heidi Merrick. This is probably thanks to the fact that I know I will end up walking out from our catch up session carrying every single piece from her summer collection. It’s just.that.good. I can’t take it any longer, Heidi . . . I’m coming for ya!
Must haves from Heidi:
6. A Party Dress // Sometimes I dress for the occasion and sometimes the occasion dresses for me. In other words, sometimes I purchase a fabulous dress with no place special to wear it to and somehow the opportunity to wear it always presents itself. It’s kind of a “dress for the job you want” mentality. If you put the positive energy out there, then things will happen. I’ve been itching to get dressed to the nines and go dancing recently, so right now I am shopping around for the perfect party dress to do just that!
Pretty party dresses:
7. Pre-fall from Tory Burch // Hi. My favorite season is summer, yet I have very quickly found myself drooling over what’s in store for fall. I am obsessed with the new Tory Burch Collection so much that I immediately purchased this dress. I figure I can get a few wears out of it now & then toss on a big black sweater over it when temps drop.
8. Madewell et Sézane Striped Dress // I want it. Plain and simple.
9. Cynthia Rowley Wet Suit // Back in April on my family’s annual scuba diving trip to Cozumel, I mistakingly left my favorite Cynthia Rowley wetsuit behind {crushed}. After getting invited to go paddle boarding next week, I found it an excellent time to invest in a new one.
Other wonderful wetsuits:
10. Black Pumps // You guys, seriously, I have not had a pair of black pumps for over 8 months now. I don’t know what is wrong with me but I’ve been having such a hard time replacing my existing {ruined} pair. It is officially time to pull the trigger. I was in J.Crew the other day & came across this cute pair!
