Outfits 11 years ago Nice Weather for Ducks
“It is my daily mood that makes the weather.”
I couldn’t agree more to what Goethe once said in that we carry the tremendous power to make life miserable or joyful.
“I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration, I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis is escalated or de-escalated, and a person is humanized or de-humanized. If we treat people as they are, we make them worse. If we treat people as they ought to be, we help them become what they are capable of becoming.”
I recently noticed that I have been walking with my head held low. The other day when I was walking through downtown LA I got lost in Ooga Booga. When I walked into the store I was feeling grim. But slowly, I found myself getting lost in the art, picking up random books and my mind went adrift. As I walked out of the store my misplaced feelings vanished and I couldn’t remember what I was being so harsh & gloomy on myself in the first place. I felt very acute to the fact that my mind had done a complete transformation.
In a matter of 30 minutes, the weather had switched from stormy, to sun.
