Last week the husband and I hopped over to an island that neither of us had been to, Lanai.
When the Four Seasons Lanai invited us to their property many months ago, it was only a matter of “when” for us to sort out the perfect getaway. After coordinating with the amazing team at Four Seasons Lanai, my husband surprised me with a romantic getaway for two filled with morning strolls on the beach, sunset conversations over delicious food and {I’m not gonna lie} a few nights spent cozied up with room service and a good movie.
I know from the outside eye, we seem like a couple that is always on the go with travel. It’s no doubt that we travel quite a bit. However, most of the time I am zooming around cities trying to capture amazing content to share with you guys. Many times I am traveling with brands so I have a jam packed schedule with little time to truly relax. After a crazy week in Paris, this trip was just what the doctor ordered.
The Four Seasons Lanai is remote in the best of ways. It’s the only hotel on the island and has anything and everything that you would want to experience while in Hawaii. From horseback riding to scuba diving, morning yoga and whale watching the shore, we opted to completely “veg out” on the beach and in the pool. Honestly, we didn’t do much on this trip at all and it was absolutely fantastic.
We did, however, make the short (and easy) hike over to Sweet heart Rock from the resort. It was a nice little adventure that ended with us free climbing down to the private beach.
I will be doing another post this week with a round-up of photos from the hotel property, but in the meantime I wanted to share a few snapshots that I took throughout the trip.
