Style Tips 5 years ago My Thanksgiving Wardrobe Guide
Raise your hand if you are traveling home for the Thanksgiving holiday.
While we aren’t traveling for turkey, we are traveling for Christmas. But I thought I’d throw together some style favorites for everyone to add some fall cheer to your wardrobe for the pending holiday.
A Fair Isle Sweater
The number one staple for every Thanksgiving should be a Fair Isle sweater. It can be worn with jeans or black leggings and offers plenty of room for binge eating turkey. I also love the cozy vibes that fair isle offers. It’s quintessentially fall.
The Tailored Blazer
You know I have this blazer in three colors and I simply cannot get enough of it. I’ve had it for years now and it’s 100% my favorite staple. Everyone should own this. It will come in especially handy during the holidays because it’s cozy, stylish and a nice layer to keep you warm.
A Sharp Looking Pant
Whether you’re heading home from college and eager to look super smart or you’re going to dinner at the in-laws, you’ll want to look sharp as a whip this Thanksgiving. I am obsessed with these pants by Vince that are certain to elevate any ordinary outfit.
Hunter Boots
If you live somewhere with a strong fall with sleet and sometimes snow, then a classic pair of Hunter boots are a must. Scratch that, if you live anywhere I would vote that Hunters should be in your closet. I’ve had mine for year’s and they are a staple.
Luxe Loafers
I love, love wearing loafers because they truly go with everything. This year I’m kicking things up a notch and testing out white loafers because they aren’t just your ordinary black or brown.
A Pretty Party Dress
I love this dress that I wore a few weeks ago by Polo. It’s the perfect dress for Thanksgiving dinner no matter what company you keep.
