It just hit me the other day that pregnancy has really injected a new perspective on my personal style.
All of a sudden I cannot get enough print. I don’t know if it’s because it’s an easy way to somewhat disguise my bump when I don’t feel like showing it off, or if I’m just itching for some more floral in my life but I feel like all I’ve been wearing lately are pops of print. All of the pieces I’ve been picking lately are darker florals that I plan on wearing with chunky sweaters and boots in the fall. I’ve also been selecting things that are loose and flowy, but that I can also add a belt or tie by the waist when I want to have a more fitted feel. I love being able to wear a menswear blazer over my dresses {because I’m always cold}. And the styles I gravitate toward can be worn with sandals and/or heels.
Don’t get me wrong, there are some days where I’ll toss on a pair of maternity jeans or a skirt and try to wear something more fitted, but right now I feel my best when I am comfortable. I recently headed over to Milk boutique in Brentwood to pick up a few things before our trip to Paris next week and I’ve linked to a few things I got from their store below. I’ve also linked to a few more favorite maternity style favorites that I’ve been wearing on rotation.
Unfortunately the dress I’m wearing sold out at the boutique already, but I’m thinking I might have to go back to pick up this floral beauty as well. Damsel in Dior readers can receive 10% off your purchase {once per customer} with the code: Jacey.
