Travel 8 years ago My Paris Apartment
I first stayed in a onefinestay apartment a few months back during a trip to New York and immediately fell in love. I’ve used their apartment rental company two times in New York and recently stayed in Avenue Niel during Paris Fashion Week. First of all, I am obsessed with onefinestay. I prefer them over other apartment rental companies because their selection of apartments is curated and feels very high end. The customer service is top notch {they even left me a cell phone to use in Paris!} and the knowledgable staff will tell you anything and everything you need to know about the apartment you are staying in.
Just go check out their website by clicking here and see for yourself… and continue reading below about my Paris apartment called “Avenue Niel“.
Avenue Niel was perfectly positioned in the 17th Arrondissement of Paris (just north east of the Arc du Triomphe). You can walk to the Arc du Triomphe and there are plenty of delicious restaurants, cafés and bars just off the doorstep of the apartment.
Speaking of good places to eat, La Ceicheria is literally next door to Avenue Niel and had some of the best ceviche I’ve ever tasted! If you stay in this apartment you must try it out.
The apartment was located on the 5th floor and offered sweeping views of the beautiful tree lined street. Every room had windows and ample closet space {which is super important to me!}. The building felt very safe {with two doors both entered with a key fob} and had a lift so you could opt out of taking the stairs {as beautiful as they were}.
Let’s talk about the beds. I didn’t realize until rather recently but I am somewhat of a brat when it comes to beds. It truly does make such an impact on your trip if you are sleeping in a bed that isn’t comfortable. Thankfully I give the Avenue Niel bed two big thumbs up. The sheets were soft, the mattress just right, and there were plenty of pillows to surround myself in.
The 3 bedroom apartment had 2 bathrooms. One bathroom was connected to the master bedroom which had a free standing shower and the other was between the remaining two bedrooms and it had a shower and a bath tub. Both bathrooms had heated towel racks and felt very bright and spacious!
Next door to the apartment was the most adorable flower shop ever! We picked up a small bouquet for the apartment that felt very Parisian chic!
