As weekend two of the music scene kicks off today, I figured what better time than to share a bit of outfit inspiration for my fellow festival attendees. Last weekend, as I tromped through the dust in Indio, I was very happy that I didn’t drop an arm and a leg on my festival gear. Let’s face the facts: Thousands of people jumping up and down plus extremely hot temps during the day plus a chilly breeze at night… Dressing for music festivals isn’t the easiest task. I have to be honest and share that I had an emotional break down at least once last weekend over what to wear. The one thing that’s always worked for me is wearing a light tank/blouse and adding layers that can easily be tied around my waist. Layering different pieces together works just like a band. You need the bass, the vocals and the drums just like you need a variety of layers to keep you comfortable and in tune with why you are at the music festival to begin with: To have fun!
