Merry Christmas from our family to yours from snowy Aspen.

We know that this year may look very different for many. With all of the flight delays, my parent’s ended up getting *stuck* in Aspen with us which we couldn’t selfishly be happier about. They were supposed to be in Texas with our extended family but we’re so happy they are here. My brother and his family were grounded in Los Angeles and supposed to be in Washington today.

When I reflect on the last year I can’t help but think about where we were a year ago today. Grant and I were quarantined at home with Covid-19, Hugh had yet to be born and we felt very sad to miss Christmas with our family.

Today, I could not feel more blessed. We have so much to be thankful for.
