It has been years since I visited Maui and I was so excited when Veuve Clicqout invited me to come check out their new Champagne Hale at Cliff House at the Montage Kapalua Bay. I’d heard wonderful things about this property and, as you know, Veuve Clicqout is my favorite champagne brand. How lucky am I? I seriously jumped up and down when I got the invitation because not only do I love the brand, but I am obsessed with Maui. It was just as magical as I remembered and I ended up getting to relax with friends and make a few fantastic memories along the way.

The first night in Maui we ate at the most amazing restaurant called Merriman's. With perfect views of the sunset and this adorable private beach cove, the food was equally delicious.
My best gal pal and her boyfriend were able to join us on the trip. It's always nice to have another couple to hang out with and I was so happy we had the chance to spend more time together.
Don't even get me started on Mama's Fish House. It is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Driving an hour each way for lunch from The Montage Hotel was well worth it!
Every morning I would wake up at 6am and walk down to the beach. It was so calm and peaceful with no crowds. This is where I had my coffee every day and practiced my morning meditation.
During our trip, Montage Kapalua Bay unveiled the Champagne Hale at Cliff House with Veuve Clicqout. This pop-up bar and lounge for guests and locals is the perfect place to experience the incredible Maui sunset and enjoy a variety of champagne and light bites.
One of the most terrifyingly rewarding experiences I've ever had was climbing down the 60 foot face at Chutes & Ladders. With no rope and a vertical decent, this rock climb was challenging on so many levels. I would not suggest attempting this without a guide and rock climbing experience. But the reward was very sweet when we were welcomed with tide pools and a memory that will last a lifetime.
After our rock climb, we made a pit stop at a cute van selling shaved ice. I hadn't had a shaved ice in years and this one tasted extra sweet after spending hours sweating in the sun.
We had a very tasty sit down dinner with the Veuve Clicqout team at the Montage Kapalua Bay Hotel. The table setting was top notch!
After the crazy hard rock climb, my muscles were barking at me. I have never been more appreciative of a massage than I was after Chutes & Ladders. The spa at the Montage was unforgettable. I had my own private bungalow and the windows were open with a light breeze coming through and birds chirping. It was magical.
I have only been to Maui twice before this and I somehow always forget how truly magical of a place it is. There is something really calming and peaceful about the Hawaiian air. If you ever have the chance to visit, I strongly suggest it. I was always the person who thought the hype would not meet my expectations but every time I visit Maui I am floored by how happy this place makes me feel.
Special thank you to Montage Kapalua Bay and the Veuve Clicqout team for arranging such an unforgettable experience.
