I saw a quote by Steve Jobs recently that made me smile.
It wasn’t until college that I learned that just because you don’t fit in, doesn’t mean you have to live inside the life that you live. When I reached DePaul University in Chicago, I started to feel more and more comfortable in my own skin and in addition to changes in my personality, came changes in my wardrobe. This quote made me think about this outfit I put together for Old Navy this week. This adorable spring dress made me feel girlie and bright but I wanted to alter it slightly to fit my personality, so I added my own influence {a striped slip} to it.
Old Navy Eyelet Dress {$35} // Balham Stripe Slip {$60} // Manolo Blahnik Tayler Pumps in White {$735, similar pair here & here both under $100} //Anndra Neen Cage Clutch {$790 sold out, similar one here & here} //
