Home interior inspiration can, and should, come from anywhere and everywhere. Ever since we remodeled “Home Sweet Damsel,” I cannot stop drawing interior inspiration from all sorts of places. I’ve also continued wearing my “house mode” hat long after our renovations have concluded.
There is an area of the house that I wished I had spent a bit more time on. It’s little aspects that don’t seem important at the time, that actually end up being the icing on the cake. I’m talking about our faucets. To me, nobs and faucets are kind of like handbags and shoes. An outfit, or house, just isn’t complete without that final, special touch. When Brizo recently reached out, asking me to draw up my dream board for their latest and greatest “Rook Collection,” I jumped at the opportunity to play domestic damsel all over again. Here’s what I dreamed up:
To me, your home can either reflect an opposite end of the spectrum to your personal wardrobe style, or it can be an extension of your closet. Because my closet is joined to my bathroom, I have focused my bathroom accessories to reflect the true core of my personal style which is traditional meets modern. I aspire to dress in neutral tones, clean lines, yet with the comforts of modern day fabrics and cuts. I chose the Roman Tub Faucet as my inspiration for this post because it suits my traditional, yet modern sense of style.
