I love surprises.

And boy did I find a few surprises over the weekend!

Surprise #1: I went to a dinner party in Silverlake and made a pit stop at Sunset Junction to pick up some flowers for the host. I admit, I really need to venture around Los Angeles a bit more. This place is absolutely darling! Offering up a cute coffee shop, cheese store and a charming flower market.

Surprise #2: The whole mesh top trend has scared me a little. But when I got this adorable spring dress from Nordstrom TopShop I knew immediately that I could pair it’s girlie, flirty style with a more sporty crop top. Whenever I am feeling like a look is too strong, I will pick out an opposite item to pair it up with to balance things out.

Surprise #3: Being a girl is FUN! Don’t get me wrong, I love me a pair of jeans but when the temp heats up there is nothing more fun than wearing a cute floral dress while picking out cute flowers from a cute flower shop!
