Decor Tips 3 years ago How To Make Your Thanksgiving Table Pop in a Pinch
The countdown is here!
Thanksgiving is next week and I don’t know about you, but I’ve been spending late nights on Amazon and Target ordering last minute decor to make things really pop on my table this year.
All of our dinner wear is by Juliska, which feels very classic and offers an easy staple to mix in linens and other decor season by season to change things up. Here are a few things I’m adding to my Thanksgiving dinner table to make things pop for the season.
1. Fresh Linens
We have a few sets of linen napkins, but because we are hosting 14 guests for Thanksgiving I wanted to get a full matching set. I found this set on Amazon that I love because of the classic hemstitch. I also ordered cocktail napkins. There is something so elevated about serving your guests a cocktail on a linen napkin. Here is a perfect set in red for Christmas!
2. Matching Sets
It sounds simple, but offering consistency across your table can be the easiest way to have a table feel marvelous. Even if you have nothing but a small vase with flowers, if your linens, plates, cutlery and glassware all match then things will feel very sophisticated and chic. We never can seem to keep wine glasses in order at our house. They either break or we have 5 different kinds and never have a proper full set. This season I pulled the trigger and ordered these wine glasses so we can finally have a matching set this season.
3. A New Tray
In my opinion, the most important investment you can make for your table is a strong serving tray. Even if it’s just for the appetizers or the main event {turkey!}, what you serve food on will set the tone for the remainder of the meal.
4. Pop In Pumpkins
The easiest way to pop in some fall to your table is to add pumpkins to the middle of your table. You can either swing by your local market which I’m confident will have some, or invest in a faux set that will last you for many years to come.
5. Candlesticks
I’m having a major moment with candlesticks. They feel so much more unexpected then regular tea lights and they can also offer for a nice decorative moment in the center of your table if you group them together.
Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year? Have any tips to share on how you’re spicing up your table?
