I am still quite a bit dazed by the quick trip I made to Dubai this weekend. Dubai is one of those wild places that has always been on my bucket list. So, when my friend Sara from Simply asked me to speak at the conference at the Mall of the Emirates, I immediately jumped at the opportunity.
Firstly, I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing the flights were. We flew business class on Emirates and I totally geeked out to my roomy seat {the size of my college dorm room} and the incredible service. I was seriously planning on doing an entire blog post just about the flight, but my jet lagged mind was not firing on all cylinders {and I pretty much slept the entire flight}.
Our schedule was jammed packed full of activities in the Mall of the Emirates for the first 3 days where they have an indoor ski slope {super entertaining}. But on the last half of our last day, we made it out to the market, saw the world’s tallest building and ended the trip with an unforgettable safari experience. If you ever make it to Dubai, be sure to go on a safari. It was such an amazing way to end the trip. I am still super jet lagged, but also remembering the amazing people we met on our journey. It was truly eye opening to see a place that is so culturally different than the U.S. I learned so many things and will treasure my conversations with the people of Dubai for a lifetime.
I am currently editing my video from the trip and will be posting it soon. Have you ever been to Dubai? What places would you suggest seeing?
A lot of my clothes were sold out, but I’ve attached a few things I wore to the bottom of this post. x
