When it really boils down to it, I’m a huge sucker for a good pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a pretty party dress but when I’m running errands and working around the house I feel most comfortable in my favorite pair of jeans.
Like everyone, over the years I’ve owned so many different pairs of jeans (and experimented with lots of different denim trends), but I feel like lately I’ve really honed in to what styles I like and feel the best in. Today I’m sharing a roundup of some of my favorite pairs to wear this summer {think: lighter washes, cut off shorts, etc…}.

Current Most Worn
Recognize these? These are my current go-to pairs of denim! If you click on the number, you can see some of the outfits I’ve worn them in. They are super comfortable and I love the light wash. I actually own 2 pairs {ha!}. I loved them so much that I also ordered a size down for a more slim fit because they do run a bit baggy.
Classic Denim
I think you should always have a classic pair of denim in your closet. No fringe, holes or embellishment – just a good old fashioned pair of jeans that you can wear everyday and dress up when needed. I’ll usually add dark/black wash denim to the rotation for fall and winter, but in the summer I like them a little lighter.
A Little Bit Distressed
Summer always feels a bit more casual to me, so I always have a few pairs of distressed denim that I reach for. There are so many options (and levels) of distressing, but I don’t like to go too crazy with it. Just a little bit here and there works for me.
White Denim
I don’t know if you saw my memo about summer white, but I’m all about it. A pair of white skinny jeans just feels so fresh for summer.
Cutoffs
If you’re anything like me, you live in your denim cutoffs during the summer. I love a pair of Levi 501s and I’m also into these GRLFRND jeans right now!
