Damsel Diaries 7 years ago Best of 2017
I would like to end the year by reflecting on the many amazing adventures I’ve had the opportunity to experience through this platform. What a wild ride 2017 has been. From traveling to St. Lucia, Dubai, Paris and getting to attend my first ever Chanel fashion show, there were so many amazing moments that were Insta-worthy and blog-worthy. I pulled a few favorites of my own, along with the top performing {most liked by my readers} from the year. I hope you enjoy!
What type of content would you like more of in 2018?
Thank you all for helping to make 2017 a wonderful year. If you’re interested in watching my 2017 video recap, click here.
For the first time since I started my blog, I took February fashion week in New York off and trotted over to Mexico instead. The trip ended up being just what the doctor ordered.
This photo was taken outside of the Peninsula Paris where I spent a few nights prior to heading over to Positano. It was definitely a strong highlight of my year. The trip was so fun and we were able to snap some pretty amazing photos.
My husband shied away from social media until this year and boy did he make a strong debut when we dressed up in black tie for the ICONS party at NYFW. This was my top performing post on Instagram this year {outside of giveaways}.
This is probably my strongest image of 2017. Not only is it a personal favorite, but it was published in a WWD article showcasing my Instagram following as being “un-purchased” an as a genuine and authentic following – which I am very proud of!
Love, Love, Love any excuse to head over to Palm Springs. This was a super spontaneous and random trip we took with my Mom to get some R&R.
I mean… my first time at the Chanel Paris fashion week show, wearing Chanel. That was a damn good day.
Toward the end of the year we welcomed this new baby {Land Rover Defender} to the driveway. I absolutely love driving this car. It brings out the Texas girl in me and it's added more adventure to the weekends.
I really do feel more at peace when I’m on the beach. This trip to Maui was so surreal and it introduced me to a new favorite hobby: rock climbing!
Dubai. Desert. Need I say more? This was a life changing trip that I will never forget!
