Mental Health 1 month ago At Home Workouts Worth Investing In
2020, the year at at home workouts.
Sadly, I don’t think this trend is going anywhere soon. Luckily, there is a plethora of at home workout regimes that can keep you feeling fit and that fun to do.
Working out this past year has been all about keeping my mental health game strong.
It’s truly been my outlet for blowing off steam, feeling connected to my mind and body and most importantly, it’s been the best natural treatment for fighting off depression.
I’m rounding up a list of my favorites from the year and workout plans that I swear by below along with equipment I have and love for any at home workouts.
First thing is first, my gear. It’s very important to have the correct work out gear at home to get your workout done. Otherwise, you will find any excuse to not work out and this will be your #1. Here are a few things I have tucked neatly in a basket for my at home workouts:
Pilates by Amanda
I have been doing Pilates by Amanda 1-3 times a week for the past year and have 100% seen the biggest change in my body. I was so upset when stay at home orders went into place in Los Angeles, but her at home workouts are honestly just as good as the in person. // Sign up here
Whether it’s her phone number workouts on IG or her jump rope motivational moves, I am the biggest fan of all things Amanda Kloots. Her positive energy is infectious and any time I’m looking to boost endorphins and get my body moving quickly, I’ll tune into one of her amazing workouts and get to sweating instantly. // Sign up here
This is workout app that I go back to time and time again. It’s a really great app for beginners who are looking to dip their sneakers in a manageable workout. It was the first thing I did post pregnancy. You don’t need any equipment! // Sign up here
Another one of my all time favorites is by Megan and called Sculpt Society. Her dance cardio and sculpting workouts always get me sweating quickly and I feel so great after a work out! I love how quick and easy you can jump into her workouts with little to no equipment needed. // Sign up here
