Outfits 10 years ago A Thin Line
Have you noticed a running theme in this weeks outfits?
I am somewhat obsessing over navy blue this week. Navy and white, navy and red . . . I simply cannot get enough. It’s not that my disposition has been blue lately, but I’m just drawn to blue. Being the psycho that I am I did a bit of research on what the color blue resembles in terms of my mood.
After finding this chart, I thought it was pretty interesting how two borderline shades of blue represent two entirely different things as far as your mental health is concerned. Some people are drawn to a lighter shade of blue which is a favorite among “healthy” people, while others are attracted to a slightly darker shade of blue which indicates anxiety and depression. Damnit. I wonder if navy blue would fall into that category.
Doing this little bit of research reminded me of a popular saying about love and hate. I once heard that there is such a fine line between love and hate to the point that it has been scientifically proven that both feelings trigger the same reaction in your brain. So, sometimes you might actually hate something that you think you love {or vice versa}. This made me wonder if the same theory rings true with my attraction to the color blue. Do I really love it because it makes me happy? Or do I hate it because it makes me sad? Or maybe I love it because it makes me feel sad? Is it a subconscious choice?
Or do I just have too much time on my hands? {ha}.
If you had to pick a color to represent your mood, what would it be?
