I’ve never been keen on cold weather, but there is just something about Aspen that makes my heart warm. Perhaps it is the breathtaking cabin that my husbands family has that we stay in. Or, the tireless amount of skiing lessons he has patiently given me, proving fall after fall, tear after tear that he believes I can do it. There is something especially romantic about sipping a hot toddy by a cozy fire letting your toes thaw out after a hard day of falling down the mountain. We will be taking a “spring ski” trip with a few of our closest friends come March. So, be expecting some fun spring winter pictures to come. Until then, I’ll be stocking my suitcase up with some of these apres-ski essentials:
