The other day I received a sweet gift from the team at Olay with a note to test out their newest product called “Whips,” which is not just an ordinary moisturizer, it works as a primer too.
I whipped out a question in the office that got the girls talking: “Why do we need primer?”
A few said it makes your make-up look better and last longer. Haleigh explained how it helps make your skin look dewy. I was still feeling skeptical so I did a little research of my own and found out that just like using a primer before we paint our walls in our home, it is equally important to use one on our face. Unsure of how to use a skin primer, I hit the internet and found a few helpful tips on using this lightweight moisturizer.
- Always apply moisture before priming. In this case, with Whips, you are killing two birds with one stone because it actively moisturizes while also acting as a primer!
- A little bit goes a long way. Start in the center of your face and work your way out.
- Whips is best applied with your fingertips or a sponge and does not need time to dry before applying makeup.
