I’ve recently teamed up with the lovely team at Seven Daughters to give fun splashes of fashion tips & trends throughout the next several months. Right now I’ve got fall on the brain and I’m especially loving the easy way to incorporate some of this year’s biggest trends into my mix.

1. Time Honored Trench {Coach Classic Trench Coat, $498}: The classic trench is a classic for a reason. You can insta-chic any simple tee & jean by tossing this staple on.

2. Lucite Loveliness {Lucite Garden Bib, $42}: Statement necklaces have proven that they are around to stay. Lucite is an unexpected material that will elevate your look to a more chic, modern tone.

3. Jacquered Prints {Jacquard Dress, $60}: Tiny black and white checks add sophistication and British influence to autumn attire. Try putting a yellow or burgundy top over or under dresses for luxe layers.

4. Leather Skirt Simplicity {Tall Leather A-Line Skirt, $170}: A chunky knit over a leather skirt and you are ready to go anywhere. Hold off on leather pants for winter and invest in a skirt with boots for fall perfection.

5. Baseball Cap Beauty {Color Block Baseball Cap, $40}: Give your bad hair days a rest by tossing on a chic cap. Try teasing out your hair and pairing the hat with a lace top for a nice juxtaposition of girlie edge.

6. Hairy Handbags {Elizabeth & James Haircalf Mini Cross Body Bag, $445}: I draw a line with some hairy pieces, but this particular bag has sold me on furry fashion. I love the dark color and very subtle hint of hair.

7. Printed Pumps {J.Crew Collection Leopard Pumps, $350}: Calling all lovers of leopard: it is your time to shine! Leopard is making a huge come back this year in unexpected accents of heels, flats and clutches.
