Travel 9 years ago 6 Travel Destinations for 2016
It’s no secret that I love to travel. But this year I’m taking my travel plans extra serious and trying to map out a few new places that I’ve never been. Here are a few places I came across that look like excellent options for 2016.
Candlewood Cabins // I came across this beauty on Pinterest and have had it saved for quite some time. Nothing sounds better than curling up with a good book in a cabin in the middle of nowhere.
Hokkaido, Japan // I mean . . . this just has Instagram write all over it {ha!}! Hokkaido, the northernmost of Japan’s main islands, is known for volcanoes, natural hot springs and ski resorts. National parks include rugged Daisetsuzan, home to steaming, volcanic Mt. Asahi, and Shikotsu-Tōya park, containing caldera lakes, geothermal springs and Mt. Fuji look-alike Mt. Yotei. Rusutsu, Furano and Niseko are popular ski destinations, with Niseko also offering fishing, biking and rafting in the summer. What else do you really need in a destination?
Norway // I will go to Norway at some point, some day . . . it’s just a matter of time.
Soho Farmhouse, Oxfordshire // This recent find tugged at my heart strings because I love an indoor/outdoor pool and find it especially cool that it’s on a lake! I’m going to try to make it out to this Soho House next time I venture to London.
Halong Bay, Vietnam // Been on my bucket list for nearly 10 years now. Dying to go here.
