When it comes to summer skincare, I like to switch things up slightly.

Not only am I in the sun more {hello SPF}, but my summer skin tends to be on the dry side. By injecting additional vitamin C and using lighter weight makeup, I feel that summer glow come through a little extra.

Here are my ride or die summer favorites that I truly swear by, plus a couple new additions I can’t wait to work into my rotation.

Energizing Face Mist

If I had to pick one favorite new product for summer, this is definitely it. This energizing mist leaves the perfect dewy touch to your skin. I even splash this on for evenings when my make-up is done and I want a little extra glow. – Tom Ford Hyaluronic Energizing Mist, $46

Gentle Foaming Cleanser

This cleanser is a household favorite. Both Grant and I use it in the shower and we love it equally. It’s light but I like the foamy texture. It also doesn’t really have a scent and leaves my skin feeling super clean. – Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser, $31

Tinted Moisturizer

During the warmer months I trade in my heavier foundations for something light and I just ordered this tinted moisturizer that a fellow blogger recommended. I love everything by EltaMD so I expect this won’t miss the mark. –  EltaMD, $30

Color Correcting Serum

My little sun spots start to appear come June and I find myself reaching for little tubes of color correction, i.e. serums! I’ve heard wonderful things about Klur and I’m excited to implement this restoration serum into my regime. – Klur Stellar Restoration Serum, $98

Setting Spray

I simply do not leave home without spraying this on my face. I’ve used it for over two years and it’s hands down one of my all time favorite products. – Soleil Toujours Setting Spray with SPF, $36
