It’s time to clean out the clutter and start with a fresh vanity for a brand new season: spring!
In case you missed the memo, beauty products can expire and it’s not always the best idea to have a crazy extensive beauty stash. I’m quite the opposite of a hoarder when it comes to my vanity. I only like to look at and keep the things that I use daily.
Yes, everything. This will allow you to really see all that you have. Products get lost in a messy drawer and taking everything out makes sure you’ll get the most from your spring refresh.
Face oils can go in one pile, face creams in another, body lotion in another, and so on. If there’s something expired, leaking or if I already know it’s a giveaway, I’ll take it out at this step.
I find I do best with a very simple and minimalistic skincare routine. This step allows me to do exactly that. I try to keep the least amount possible in every category I created above.
Wipe down bottles, close all lids and give the drawer or container a good wipe down as well. It’s shocking how much makeup and skincare residue ends up on your daily products.
This is 100% the best part. So satisfying. I promise this will make it all worth it, even if the task seemed daunting at first.
Have you cleaned out your beauty drawer lately? Any tips?
