So you want to decoration for Thanksgiving but you don’t want to break an arm and leg to do so?
I feel you girl. I’ve rounded up a few simple and easy ways you can spruce up your home without breaking the bank and the effort to do so.
1. Go Foraging
Why spend money on flowers when you can scoop up some fall loveliness just outside your door. Take a little road trip and find some leaves, pinecones and other natural elements to bring to your turkey table. You can also implement fruit into your table-scape for something a little extra
2. Use a Throw
Rather than investing in some pricey linens, look at blankets you already own to add some rich texture to your table
3. Candles are Your BFF
Tiny candles can be your best friend during Thanksgiving because they are super duper affordable and add the perfect amount of ambiance to your event. The more the merrier!
4. Butcher It
A very inexpensive way to add a little quirk and fun to your table is with butcher paper! It not only can serve as a table cloth, but you can use a sharpie to draw place settings and name cards. It’s also fun for any kiddo’s sitting around the table to draw on. If you really want to get crafty, you can score some cheap fall stencils to make the paper really pop.
5. Fireplace Mantle DIY
If you are feeling like a crafty DIY project, a very inexpensive and easy way to dress up your fireplace mantle is from your foraging trip. Pin up some pine cones using baker’s twine and voila! You are set for fall.
