There are so many amazing restaurants and bars in Los Angeles, which is one of the things I really love about the city!
With the holidays coming up and family and friends filtering into town, I’m on the hunt for some new places to take our guests. I’m also looking for some new pieces to add to my closet that I can wear now through the holidays.
Fall in Los Angeles is about as all over the map as a teenage girl trying to decide what to wear for prom {bad joke}. It’s hot, it’s cold and then it’s hot again. The good news is that Fall floral dresses match the season no matter what the weather is doing – like this one from Reiss. You can toss on an over-the-knee boot or ankle bootie with tights, or if it’s warmer out, you can opt for a cute pair of cocktail heels like I’m wearing here. I also love the idea of mixing floral with a check print for Fall – and this Reiss check blazer is absolutely stunning. It’s the perfect piece to throw on for dinner once the sun starts to set and the air cools down.

I am so incredibly excited to check out Roberta's in Culver City. Roberta's is a Brooklyn institution known for their wood-fire pizzas and they finally opened their first West Coast spot this fall. If you're a pizza lover, put this one on your must-visit list.
If you can't make a visit to Paris anytime soon, pop over to Hail Mary Bistro in Downtown LA for a French foodie experience. As a semi-permanent pop up with a menu that changes daily, you'll feel like you've been instantly transported to a Parisian cafe. I've heard amazing things about the food and I cannot wait to try it. I'm already having Paris withdrawels. Take note that they are only open for lunch, Wednesday through Friday.
The next time I'm craving some good old southern comfort food, I'm heading to Alta in West Adams. With a menu that includes cornbread, shrimp and grits, skillet fried chicken and sides of Mac and cheese, I don't think you can go wrong!
I've heard incredible things about the food at Simone, a new restaurant in the Arts District that serves California Cuisine. There seems to be something for everyone on the menu and the chic Art Deco decor looks extremely 'Instagramable'.
Thank you so much to Reiss for partnering with me on this post.
