About once a year, I like to give my jewelry drawer a once over and update the staple pieces that I’m wearing.
As you may have noticed, I’m a pretty strong creature of habit when it comes to my staple jewelry pieces. But I’m really trying to step outside of my style box more this year to inject different styles and trends into my routine. Jewelry is such a quick and easy way to elevate an outfit and your mood. It’s also a simple style hack to transform an outfit into being more casual or dressy, depending on the trend.
My friends at Nordstrom reached out for me to share my top 3 favorite jewelry trends of the season and, as hard as it was, I’ve narrowed it down to the below selection. I’ve also put together a carefully curated list of all of my favorite pieces from the Nordstrom Jewelry shop so that shopping is made easier for you!

What trend is your favorite?
I absolutely love how the Nordstrom team styled this Loren Stewart Pearl Necklace with the Loren Stewart Stone Pendant. I wouldn’t have thought to mix the two together but it’s such a strong statement that I can’t stop thinking about. Pearls are one of my favorite jewelry pieces of all time. I also love, love these earrings by Poppy Finch.
I am obsessed with this brooch. It would look amazing on a sharp black blazer with a white tee and denim. It’s such a simple way to dress up a look.
The trend of layering and lockets isn’t going anywhere. It’s a classic style that is definitely here to stay and I’m not even the biggest fan of calling it a “trend.”
I have been itching to get my hands on some sweet turquoise ever since a trip we took to Mexico a few months ago. My good friend’s mom had some turquoise jewelry on that she scored from New Mexico and I simply cannot stop thinking about how chic she looked wearing her crisp white button down and turquoise jewelry. These earrings are the perfect pair that I’ve been scouring the internet for! Popping a little color into jewelry is the easiest way to jazz up an otherwise ordinary outfit.
Special thanks to Nordstrom for partnering on this post.
