Every time I go to get dressed, it seems like I am always reaching for the same pieces. A lot of you always ask about what key pieces I think every one should have in their wardrobe. Below you will find a few favorite basics.

Finding the perfect white button down seems like an endless pursuit. Every time I find a new favorite, like this one from Madewell, it seems to be the only thing I wear around the clock.
Shop NowThis is hands down my new favorite denim jacket. I tend to wear the same denim jacket for years and this one is my new favorite because it's a more oversized fit.
Shop NowI really love having one key statement clutch and they tend to be stripe. It will add a punch to any outfit and then during the day you can just toss it in your tote for work.

It's no secret that I live in my black slip dress. You can pair a t-shirt under, a sweater or denim jacket over. This dress can be dressed up, dressed down and worn day through night. It's hands down my favorite.
Shop NowEvery woman, and I mean every, needs a pair of black strappy sandals. These are my favorite go to's because the heel isn't too high and you can wear them with distressed denim or a cocktail dress.
Shop NowA sweet pair of killer kicks is the handiest piece in my closet. I cannot tell you how many times I reach for this pair of white sneakers. My motto is that if you are going to wear something over and over again {as a staple} then it's worth investing some extra $$.
Shop NowContrary to popular belief, people in LA wear coats. In fact, I hardly ever leave the house without a blazer or light cozy coat. The nights get a bit chilly and I always feel more polished with a coat. I like this one because it's relaxed and goes with jeans or dresses.

Shop NowMy silk camisole by Anine Bing is practically worn out. I have it in both tan and black and it's hands down the most worn piece in my closet. I pair it under sweaters, over t-shirts and wear it on it's own.
Shop NowIf you follow closely, you know how much I love this top. I started wearing it during the day with distressed denim and it completely changed the game for me. The best lace to invest in is tough enough to wear from day to night. I don't like lace that's too delicate.
