Summer 12 years ago 10 Secrets To Summer
1. Let It Ride // No matter where you find yourself, try and go with the flow. Learn the art of saying “yes” instead of “no” to things that are a bit outside of your comfort zone.
2. Get a Good Camera // If your house were on fire {God forbid!} what is the #1 thing you would most likely grab first? For me it’s photographs. It’s the one thing we have to look back on good memories and smile so it’s about time to invest in a good camera!
3. Eat Outside // This might seem like an obvious choice when you’re at a café that has outdoor seating available. Push the envelope by suggesting picnic’s & BBQ’s for every meal! Sit outside during your lunch break to hit recharge!
4. Sleep Past Noon // Do it. You know you want to! It may seem impossible to sleep past noon, but it is my summer goal to do so at least once.
5. Take A Trip // Whether it’s across country or across the street, plan a fun getaway for yourself 1 month in advance to give yourself something to look forward to {and shop for!}
6. Eat A Watermelon // Because it’s fun, they are in season and you will immediately feel like a kid again.
7. Get Lost // It’s amazing what the freedom of being lost can do for your mind body and soul. Find a mountain, or a wide open space, and just be with yourself for at least 1 hour. No cells phones allowed!
8. Find a Good Read // I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to get my eyes wrapped up in Revenge Wears Prada this summer!
9. Ditch The Dryer // Let your tired hair air dry for a beachy look all summer long.
10. Indulge // In everything!
