New York Fashion Week. The time where bloggers bust out their best looks in hopes of getting snapped by street style photographers, while going to see all of their favorite designers showcase their latest collections. Back in the day, I would try and use this as a time to step up my wardrobe game and play around with trends, mix prints and venture out of my comfort zone a bit. This, however, never truly felt right to me and this season I decided to say “Screw it” and just dress for myself rather than dressing for other people. The funny thing is that this particular outfit, which I did not find particularly striking, was the one that was complimented and photographed the most among the street style crowds. It turns out that the best way to dress is to be true to yourself.
